This is a new milestone for me; the very kind people at Studio Foglio let me work out an official license for these little guys, so this is my very first officially licensed doll! Exciting. : )

And in case you weren't sure what it was, this is a Girl Genius Wasp Eater Weasel Doll! These little guys are so cute, I'd been wanting to make one for awhile. A new foray into Minky for me as well, huzzah! All the little legs were the most time consuming part. I'm pretty happy with the basic pattern,though it took some tweaking to get the belly the right size.

I wasn't sure quite how to address the little implants they often have..sometimes they are there, sometimes not, sometimes they seem to be a collar or group of circles, sometimes just a pair on either side. I ended up using a pair of large snaps, and I think it works fairly well, though I'm open to any suggestions or links to more likely options. : )

These little guys are made from Minky fabric with doll safety eyes and noses, and the teeth are printed on cotton sateen and then applique'd to the face. The gold 'implants' are a pair of large gold snaps.
