It's my Secret Santa gift for ! It's Russia dressed up in Slytherin clothes from Harry Potter. ^.^; He's even got a functioning hood that can go on his head and a green lining in the robe! I hope she likes! Though I am thinking with her skills she could probably make a superior scarf.. I did what I could! ^_^;; He had to have a scarf!

Ahhhhhhhh that robe.... I thought it wouldn't be that much trouble, made it fleece so it would look cleaner and because I always feel like dressing Russia warm, poor chilly guy. ; )
But my machine was trying so nobly to stitch the hood in between the lining and the outside and the needle got caught twice so finally I hand sewed the rest....and the hood was on backwards with the green side out and the black side in! Ahhh! I seam ripped all three sets of stitches and got it back on the right way.. eeesh. Well..! Next time I'll be sure to check the hood is in the right way, right? ; )

I am really happy with the end effect, and his face came out extra cute I think-- Hopefully a general trend for the future..!

He stands about 10" tall and is made of sporting wear fabric with fleece hair, fleece robe and boots, and ponte shirt and pants. His face is Copic on sticky cloth, glued down to his face since the sportingwear fabric really doesn't hold the adhesive well on it's own, alas.
