Morrigan Ainsland Plushie

Morrigan Ainsland prize doll for -- it was supposed to be 8" but ended up being 12" ... oops.. >.>;;

Now I'm kinda wishing I'd made two.. maybe I'll make another later, this was two in fairly short order with wings! The big wings are black and purple fabric, and I got the ribs with a black satin stitch, so the ribs show on the back and the front. ^_^ The little head wings are one layer of fleece with the purple painted on, since they were so tiny! I'm glad they stand up though. In the pictures I've seen her big wings are folded or low more often, so I didn't mind if they were less prone to standing up.

She is, as mentioned, 12" tall with suedecloth skin and her clothes are fleece plus some purple nylon-ish knit on her tights and wings. The bats are copic marker, and her face is one of my very first iron on transfer faces! I don't like how the transfers are so slick it's hard to be sure they're staying in place while you iron, but I really like how they stay so securely and how they take the copic--the colors are so even and vivid! I may have to make this a more regular practice. ^_^
