In celebration of my Bernina 830 finally working, I finished off Lithuania! I had been holding off on him till commissions were done, but the commissions are all on the detail phase that doesn't require much machine sewing, and I worked hard on them yesterday, so I gave in, I admit it! This is what I did today, and I'm so happy! ^.^;; He's not got the little glovies from the Yoke of Tartar strip yet but I may add them later. ^_^;; I was worried about his hair but I was really happy with it in the end!
I stuck him up above my sewing table next to Russia, but since it's Yoke of Tartar Russia hopefully they'll get along alright. ^_^
EDIT: OK despite not having seen either of the fleeces used to make him since I bought them years ago, the Joann's in a different city had both! So now I have plenty to make a few more, so I might do that. ^_^;
Liet stands about 11" tall and is made from stretch suedecloth, with fleece clothes and copic marker face. He is not for sale. ^.^;
