Kimono Japan--Hetalia by Threnodi Kimono Japan--Hetalia by Threnodi
Another doll made for and sold at Sakura Con 2011. It's Japan from Hetalia in his traditional garb! ^_^ I liked how his little sandals came out. ^_^ I keep worrying about how odd footwear will work on these chibi dolls and then really liking it! (thankfully!)

This Japan is near 10" tall with sporting fabric skin and iron on transfer eyes colored with copic marker. His hair and sandals and kimono and belt are fleece, his socks and white under robe are knits.

Japan is one of my favorite hetalia characters! And he looks so good in his kimono. Great job

Aw, thank you-- I just really wanted to make him in his traditional clothing and was lucky enough to have decent colors. ^.^ He was fun.

Aww sorry my sister's close friend bought him up last Sakura Con... and to my understanding promptly checked how much of his clothing was removable. =.=;;; Still I think he's settling in in his new home, he has Gundam dolls to keep him company. : ) Perhaps some day another! He was fun to make.
