Green Armor Zevran--Dragon Age

Here's a more recent Zevran, I thought I'd post him since he had some interesting features compared to my first! He's a commission for ^_^;

This Zev has a green color scheme to his armor, and a slightly more blond less white hair. What do you guys think?

I also used silver fabric paint for his armor accents, and put some accents on his shoulders as well, though I realized after I assembled the images the shoulders don't really show in it. oops. >.>

Also I finally tried my hand at bending wire buckles! I think it came out fairly well!

And most significantly to my mind, this Zevran talks! At the request of his commissioner I put a voice box pocket into him, so that you can zip it open to take out the voice box and record a new message on him. It's a great idea since the voice boxes I can currently get are re-recordable, though putting the zipper into the actual doll was a new experience for me! I think it came out pretty well-- it's a bit of a snug fit getting the voice box in and out but quite doable, and I tried to reinforce the top and bottom so it would stand up to many re-recordings. I also had to do his armor differently so it would open and close in the back. I ended up having to try and scrap a few methods before I found a way to put the eyehooks on that gave a good look to him-- I think I'd do it a bit differently if I made a second one, but hopefully my commissioner will find it acceptable. ^_^;;

For my part I like the alternate coloring-- green suits his skin tone I think and the light blond makes it look less stark.

Green Zev is made of suedecloth with fleece hair and clothing with pleather accents. He stands about 15" tall.
