England--Hetaliaby *Threnodi

Yay, I got a commission, and it was even a Hetalia one so I could use my Chibitalia pattern again! It's England! I had my friend put on his tie since I don't know how ; p I like how his little belt thing came out, and I was worried about the hair at first but I was happy with the end result. ^_^

I also made the little flying rabbit familiar on a whim because I thought it would be cute peeking from a pocket or lapel-- it's more or less just a cutout of fleece, but it makes me happy.

England stands about 11" tall and is made of suedecloth with fleece hair and clothes, ponte roma shirtfront and brown pleather for his belt thing.

Ah, that is challenging. I often err towards making coats and sleeves and pants too long and trim them down if they are too long, then mark the change to my original pattern. You can also make a paper pattern and try to conform it to the doll to get a rough idea of how far seams will reach, so you can see if it's going to be way too small usually at least..! I hope this helps some!
