DnD on the brain

A big painting for an art class a year or two ago...featuring Dungeons and Dragons Characters. There's my Shele' in front looking...attentive I guess. : ) Not sure what she's thinking about. In the sky is my roommate's Celanthir with her mutant asimar wings showing and her "chain mail but flowy" armor. In the cave is Velar, demi-shade rogue of mine from a different campaign.

And hey..! wonder of wonders a background I can look at with a smile. : ) I can see some things that could use work now, the proportions are somewhat off, but overall I'm really happy with how this came out. It reminds me of all the fun I had when there was still regular D&D sessions here.

Oh yeah, and as a class experiment no black paint was allowed. All black looking bits of this painting are mixes of red/blue/yellow/green etc. It was fun trying to make the blackest black I could. ^_^
