It's baby America! Man, getting a mouth on him took forever.. I did about five different ones and I still am not entirely confident with how it looks... open mouths always seem hard to me..!I was really happy with the eyes though. ^_^

I learned how to tie an actual proper bow for this one too! Heh, live and learn, but I really like how the bow looks. Too bad Canada doesn't seem to get one.. poor Canada!

Got the main pic with more lights, and the one on the side had more shadows and I really really liked how it came out but it was a bit blurry! Nooo...so I left it in as a smaller shot. Got an upside-down one too to show his little shorts!

Baby America is 10" tall, made with..jet...something... a new skin cloth!

said it was nice to paint on, so I might have to try my hand at painting features on some of the others, I'm toying with the idea.. his hair is fleece, and his clothes are ponte. I really like the drape of the white-- it was thinner than the ponte roma I usually get so it had more cute folds by the end but is still a knit. ^_^ Features drawn in Copic marker on sticky cloth and hot glued down-- got some new sticky cloth which doesn't bleed as much but also doesn't stick well at all. : P But with the glue it might as well be welded down, so I guess it works out alright in the end. : )
